With the onset of Winter weather, we must remember to “winterize” our property. This includes making sure that all hoses are disconnected from paint sprayers and pressure washers. Garden hoses must be disconnected too. Cover all equipment that isn’t stored in a heated environment. For gas powered equipment, drain the fuel or add fuel stabilizers to the fuel. All paints and supplies must be moved indoors. We will have an occasional freeze, and these will be ruined and then disposed of (haz mat fees).
Remember to pursue all new business avenues. Answer all phone calls and return all messages. These bids will be needed for the spring and now is the time to get as many as possible for that time. All of your free time now should be used to acquire business and goodwill for the spring.
